Season 2 is where Buffy became something more than a show about a girl who fights vampires. Buffy falls in love with Angel, the vampire with a soul, and for a little while, she gets to believe she might have something resembling a normal life. Then everything changes: Spike and Drusilla arrive, Angel loses his soul, and Buffy learns that sometimes the person you love can become the person you have to stop.
